Sorry!

Wow..I am a slacker. Sorry for the delayed blog. We have been busy in our house lately, though. We recently confirmed that we are moving to Greenville, NC this December. So, we have been working hard to get our house ready to be put on the market. You really don't know how much you own until you try to pack it all up!! The past few weeks have been sent packing boxes, cleaning and throwing out or donating things we have accumulated but don't really need. If you know anyone who needs a townhouse in the Morgantown area, send them our way!! (c:

What else? Last weekend, Brad and Deanna came to visit. We went to the Counting Crows concert in Pittsburgh. I think Brad and Clay thought they were in Heaven...of all they were together, secondly they were together at the CC concert! They couldn't ask for more! This weekend, we first got to go to the Mountie game (thanks, Pam and Mel!!) and now we are going to attempt to watch the Aggies online. Oh, and the ECU Pirates beat Virginia Tech today, so that was exciting!! Other than that, I am just enjoying our long weekend!! Tomorrow we are going to put up a camera by our tree stand because we saw evidence of BEARS last time we were there! I can't wait to see what the pictures show us.

Ok - going to find the Aggie game online now! Have a great weekend!! Oh...before I leave, my grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary this week - how awesome is that?!?! Congrats, Grandma and Grandpa! (c:

A Great West Virginia Weekend...

We had a great weekend at the Caswell household. Saturday, we woke up early and went to the Farmer's Market. We got peppers, some hot pepper relish, jam, and a few other veggies. This was the first time we have been to the Farmer's Market this year, and we were impressed by how much it has grown over our past few years here. After that, we went to the bike shop to get some new road bikes, which were an early birthday present! Actually, we bought them at the second place we went...the first store seemed like they could care less that we were there. At the second store, we got the full attention of the owner, who even cut us a deal since we were buying two bikes! That afternoon, we smoked some ribs and chicken to take over for dinner with the Cox family. We had fun with Kelly, Phil and the boys as usual. After dinner, margaritas and watching some Olympics, we canned peppers before heading to bed. It was an action packed day!!

Sunday morning we went out to Max and Janie's to pick some blackberries. This was my first berry picking experience, and although my arms are pretty scratched up, I had a blast. (Aggie had tons of fun, too!) We probably picked about a gallon of blackberries while we were out there. Keep in mind, that doesn't include however many I ate in the process! This afternoon, we worked on cleaning out the garage. After assisting in the blackberry picking all day, Aggie was super exhausted. She was out cold on the driveway while we worked in the garage. We then settled in for the evening by making homemade pizza and cobbler made with our fresh picked black berries.

Here are some pictures from our weekend!

Thank you, Coca Cola!

I have lots to blog about from last weekend, I have been a little lazy and have not taken the time to sit down and write everything out. But just as a preview, the weekend started with a trip to Wal-Mart for jello and some other random things. To my pleasant surprise, my hubby found VANILLA COKE ZERO! If you don't know, I am pretty much obsessed with the flavor vanilla and coke zero, so you can imagine my disappointment when Coke pulled this wonderful product from the shelves. Hopefully this isn't just a tease and it is here to stay.

Yes..I did take a picture with my Coke Zero when we got home from Wal-Mart!

Well, enjoy your Thursday evening, and stay tuned for a future blog about our weekend at a West Virginia family reunion!
